Our Story & Vision
Bridging abstract science with physical reality since 2017.
Founded in 2017, the Kidz In Tech (KIT) initiative was launched to pass on relevant electronic engineering, coding, drone technology, and basic robotics knowledge to children at a tender age. By engaging children early, we align Zimbabwean youth with global technological trends seen in developed nations.
Rooted in Zimbabwe's Heritage-Based Education 5.0 Model, our curriculum discourages passive technology consumption. Instead of spending school holidays on screen-based games or idle habits, children are introduced to the practical manufacture of goods that solve local, regional, and global challenges.
Participants write code, wire complex circuits, and build real-life electronic prototypes. Under guided mentorship, our young innovators have successfully built projects such as automated boom gates, electric sensor rubbish bins, and smart home systems.
